The Central Question of Cultural Value
Creative Culture investigates the intricate relationship between cultural production and economic capture. We ask who truly owns the value of India's artisan labor, folk music, and traditional knowledge, and how the structures of power and policy shape the lives of those who create it. Our mission is to provide independent journalism that challenges the status quo and centers the voices of the cultural economy.
